Growth & Expansion:

Forces Impacting Healthcare Infrastructure: Includes the continued aging of the ‘baby boomer’ population and the requirements of the Affordable Care Act. Both necessitate that healthcare providers fully utilize their facilities and real estate in order to stay competitive and accommodate added demand efficiently. This and the acquisition of many physician practices by healthcare systems completes the paradigm shift in the way healthcare is provided, puts added pressure on limited facilities and will result in a continued need for the renewal of healthcare facilities well into the future. Service Strategy: Based on current healthcare trends to consolidate physician office and ambulatory space into multi-specialty centers, the firm has developed a unique documentation approach that is based on space and finish standards, which allows healthcare clients to promptly develop facilities of a consistent quality and look, in limited time especially on projects within leased spaces. Because this approach is based on detailing standard room types, details and finishes, project drawings are completed swiftly since the bulk of time is spent only documenting the exceptions to those standards. The firm has successfully marketed this approach to existing and new healthcare systems clients, physician practices and healthcare developers and it now forms a key part of its future marketing strategy.
